09 Conf LogoDon’t get caught unprepared or without the right tools to be successful this year! Build connections by joining us at the Construction Writers Association (CWA) 2009 Annual Conference titled Building Connections-Linking Media and People.

The two-day conference will be held on May 4-6, 2009 at the Hotel Monaco in Alexandria, Virginia. It includes sessions on: social media, creating the great interview, leadership, global construction projects, Reauthorization of SAFETEA-LU, and two interactive workshops on social media resources and branding. Keynote speaker, Denise Graveline, president of Don’t Get Caught, will share key tips on the latest social media resources such as Twitter, @SkyDiver, and more. Tim McManus, Global Director of Program and Construction Management, AECOM, will moderate a panel on top projects in Libya, U.S. and other countries. Also, over 15 editors will lead multiple roundtable discussions on hot topics in the design and construction industry. The conference will conclude with the Grand Awards Dinner. The prestigious Journalism Awards, Gordon B. Wright Awards, Silver Hard Hats Awards, Hall of Fame Awards, and also the Build A Future Scholarship will be presented at the awards dinner. This is a perfect opportunity to improve your technology skills, network, and boost your resume with the numerous award opportunities.
