CWA ANNOUNCES WEBSITE AWARDS

Entry forms are now available for the fifth annual Construction Writers Association (CWA) Journalism Website Awards. The awards go to organizations that have created journalism-oriented websites that display editorial excellence and meet the construction industry�s information needs.

The journalism website competition is open to any construction-related individual, organization or company submitting a completed entry form accompanied by a $100 entry fee. Entries will be divided into dollar investment categories. A winner will be selected and receive an award plaque in each category. Judging will be conducted by an impartial panel with acknowledged web design expertise using ten established criteria.

Marketing-oriented websites will be judged as part of CWA's Marketing Communications Award program, which is conducted later in the year.

Entry forms may be obtained by calling the CWA office at (847) 398-7756. Requirements and entry forms are also posted on the CWA website, www.constructionwriters.org . All entries must be received no later than Friday, March 15, 2002. The awards will be presented at CWA's annual meeting dinner in Washington, D.C. Thursday, May 2, 2002.
