CWA Fall Meeting Dates Announced
July, 2001
Construction Writers Association has scheduled its midyear meeting for October 4-5, 2001, in downtown Chicago.
On Friday, October 5, CWA will meet at the Tower Club for an education session and a luncheon featuring presentation of the association's first annual marketing communications awards. Tentative features of the program include a session on marketing or promoting yourself or your organization and a session on rebuilding Wacker Drive, a doubledeck street that runs along the Chicago River and is currently being torn out and rebuilt.
The board of directors plans a session in the afternoon, Thursday, October 4, and members are welcome to observe the proceedings if they wish. Traditionally, a group of CWA members gets together informally for dinner on Thursday evening.
Construction Writers Association is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, international organization for professional journalists, writers, editors and publicists serving the information needs of the construction industry.
