CONSTRUCTION WRITERS ASSOCIATION PRESENTS 2009 JOURNALISM AND PHOTOGRAPHY AWARDS IN ALEXANDRIA

(Chicago, IL) The Construction Writers Association (CWA) presented its Journalism and Photography Awards at the organization’s Annual Conference Grand Awards Dinner on May 5 at the Hotel Monaco in Alexandria, Virginia.
Prizes were conferred in five categories: the Robert F. Boger Feature Writing, Special Reports, and Editorial Writing Awards; the Kneeland (“Ned”) Godfrey Body of Work Award; and the Gordon B. Wright Award for a feature photograph. Independent communications experts served as judges for the competition. Presented each year for individual or team excellence in construction-related media, the awards are named for distinguished publishers and editors prominent in CWA history.
