Call For Entries: Construction Writers Association 2009 Website and Electronic Communications Awards

Chicago, IL—Entries are being accepted for Construction Writers Association’s 2009 Website and Electronic Communications Awards. Now in their 12th year, the awards recognize excellence in journalistic and marketing-oriented websites, e-newsletters, e-zines, blogs, wikis, podcasts, and webcasts.

Entries will be divided into three classifications:

The competition is open to individuals or organizations related to the construction industry. The deadline for entries is Friday, August 14, 2009. Entries must have been produced between January 1, 2008 and the submission deadline. The fee is $125 per entry. Winners will be presented awards at the CWA Grand Awards Dinner on Tuesday, October 6, 2009, during CWA's Fall Conference in Chicago, Illinois by this year's awards chairman, Michael Reilly, Reilly Communications. The two day conference will be held at the Hilton Suites Chicago on the Magnificent Mile on October 5-7, 2009.

Websites will be judged on the basis of the following criteria, each carrying equal weight:

Electronic Communications entries will be judged on the basis of the following criteria, and our judges will determine if any additional criteria is needed.

Judging will be conducted by an impartial panel of peers with acknowledged expertise in business communication, website design and electronic communications. At the discretion of the judges, entries may be divided into additional categories.
